Wow, it’s been awhile..
I just wanted to participate in Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember challenge
This is my card:
I used a Hero Arts stamp (CG171 Blooming Meadow). I embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I took distress inks and made a palette on my non-stick craft sheet. I spritzed the craft sheet with water mixed with perfect pearl and smeared the stamped piece across (mix of techniques learned from stalking Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner). I did this multiple times. I also ended up adding lots of distress ink with the sponge tool and spritzed again. I basically kept adding color like this (using my non-stick craft sheet and the sponge tool) until I liked the color. To get the splotches, I took some flicked some water onto the stamped piece. 🙂 The black strip is also watercolor paper that I sprayed with some homemade black mist. I used a Papertrey Ink stamp (Everyday Button Bits) for the sentiment.
🙂
Thankyou so much for joining us for STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog with your wonderful creation. Good luck with all of the blog hop prizes xxx
