I just wanted to post a little something that I made for my Sunday School Kindergarten students. I wanted to do something for Valentines Day (since it fell on Sunday), but I have a hard time re-making my cards.. so I settled for bookmarks.
Just wanted to share.. 🙂 Hope everyone had a great Valentines!
So, it’s 2:41 A.M. and I just finished making a card for this challenge. But.. my camera’s in my car!! I’m debating whether I should go and get it, but I don’t know how smart that is considering that my car is far away, it is 2:46 A.M., and it’s raining. 😦
I took some photos with my camera phone, but the picture quality is terrible, so this is the only decent one.
I did the emboss resist technique for the flowers on kraft cardstock piece, as well as the background. The background was originally light blue cardstock. I stamped with versamark ink and then embossed with detail clear. Then I rubbed Colorbox Ink on it (a few shades of pinks and a little blue). I’m not sure if I like the overall card, but I like each of the individual pieces..
It is way too late to try to figure out what supplies I used. Maybe I can update it tomorrow.
Darn EST.. 😦
I woke up with a cold today.. boo hoo~~
I wanted to make some mini-cards which were quick and easy to reproduce. Unfortunately, I have never been able to reproduce my cards. xP
I also realized (after I made them) that they hearts look very much like one of Kristina Werner’s MACM. I watch her religiously. Check her out if you haven’t already. She’s amazing.
I basically worked on these all day. I’m thinking about sending them for Cards for Kids. I need some more, but I’ll get there. Tomorrow.
Oh.. I have to list the supplies. The paper is mostly Cosmo Cricket and this set I bought from Target. (I believe it is Making Memories, but I’m not sure). The red hearts are stickers, also from Target. The heart is a stamp from Inkdadinkado. And of course my white gel pen and pop dots.
Happy Monday Tuesday~
Lisa is giving away blog candy for her birthday~ Check it out! Her stuff is also amazing, so check out her blog. 🙂 (Click on blinkie)
